Mike and I were talking about this toy last night. Eli loves this thing and plays on it for what totals a few hours a day for months. We highly recommend it. I would have never thought to buy it. Mikes sister gave it too us and we are very very thankful... thanks Ginny! I can't find it new... the only place I found it was ebay and amazon.

Sledding

Sledding with Maddie
Clearly I learned to download pictures to the computer... evidenced by the fact I have posted so much in the last few days it does not even fit on one page.
Maddie was over to go sledding today in the backyard. We have a small incline but between the type of snow (and all the leaves we never raked in the fall) there was no "sledding" down the hill.
Eli was a total gentleman today as allowed Maddie to use his lap as a seat.

Eli's other girlfriend
This is at our house on Eli's favorite toy. I don't even really know what it is. But who cares, he thinks it is the greatest thing ever and surprisingly was willing to share it... that says a lot for how he feels about Maddie.
This is in Eli's ball pit... He is not aloud to be alone with girls so I kept a close eye on the two of them in there... no funny business.
This is at bounce zone in Noblesville... we discovered they really don't know how to bounce so we might wait and try again in a few months.

Daily adventures with a toddler
Not a great pic of Mike (sorry Mike)... but good picture of why boys like daddy's more then mommy's at times.
We are working on eating with a spoon... I have to admit I only have the energy for this when I know bath time is coming right after.
So helpful... I figure, at this rate, I might be caught up on laundry in 2020 if I am lucky.

Update without pictures :( moving from baby to toddler
OK... so I am that wife. The kind that does not know how to pay the bills, has no idea how to load pictures to the computer, strongly feels it is my husbands job to take out the trash, and other 1950's stereotypes. So... when it comes to updates I am dependent on my husband to load pictures and videos. Maybe I will take the time to learn soon so I am not THAT WIFE. However, I am about to be THAT MOM... the mom who has nothing else to update on but her baby.
Eli update:
1. Eli's new love is the swiffer. His mom is a little behind the times and just got rid of her mop for a swiffer... I love it, but Eli loves it more... video to come.
2. Boys love dirt. I just (minutes ago) got done sweeping up dirt the swiffer cannot handle, straight from my potted plants. Eli loves to pull the dirt out of the pots when I am not looking. I am determined to break him of this, but he is a stuborn little guy (wonder where he got that).
3. The slide-by turn off the TV move. He knows not to turn on or off the TV and is smarter then to make it obviously when he does so. He has a new move... he appears to be playing or dancing in front of the TV... then he discreetly walks by the TV button and turns is off with a impressive follow through in which he continues with his playing as if you did not see what he just did. It is accompanied by the "did I do that face."
4. The "but I am so cute hug" This hug always follows getting in trouble. As soon as I say "Eli NO"... he runs over for the hug. It is too cute... the boy knows how to work the mommy.
