Below are pictures of Eli playing in his "Jimmy Jumper" (or Harry Hopper, or whatever you call it) outside, hanging from a tree branch. He likes to play in that while I read in my hammock. We're like peas and carrots. Also, I'm trying to teach the pepperpot how to read...he's not picking it up quite as fast as I would like, but he at least likes to look at the pictures with me.

First Trip to the Beach - Kuebler Family Vacation
Eli had his first trip to the beach a few weeks ago. I have been really bad about posting so these are late but thanks to my sister's complaints, I am doing it now.
We went with Mike's family (parents, sisters, brother in law and nieces) which is now my family as well of coarse... and the fact I am still calling them family should let you know that having all of us in one house for 7 days went really well. We had a wonderful 6 bedroom house 300 yards from the beach with private baths and TV/DVD players for all to use (including Eli) and it could not have been nicer. Eli was not too fond of the beach the first day but the second attempt went much better. He liked the pool a lot more then the beach and did well in the float we got him (see below). He loved playing with his cousins and having all week with daddy. Here are some pictures of the highlights.

Professional pictures
I took Eli to have his second set of professional pictures taken on Friday. It does not seem like we take him nearly as often as I know my parents took me, but I think it is because we are able to get so many good pictures with the digital cameras. I thought it would be fun to look at a comparison from the last time we had them taken. I have to note that the first time we took him it took a lot to get him to smile and it was amazing we caught one. However, this time he did wonderful and smiled for every picture.
