One sad Blogger

Everyday I check all of my friends blogs and love doing it... however I have noticed that on other peoples blogs there are comments... yes people make comments and it makes it a nice little conversation I enjoy reading. Everyday after I check their blogs (and make comments) I go to ours and check to see if anyone has made any comments to us... and day after day no comments which makes me one sad blogger. This is a plea for someone to comment... Jon you are on us all the time about not posting enough, maybe I will go on a posting strike until you comment!

Winter baby turned Spring

It was so nice this weekend! We had a great time taking advantage of it and being outside in the yard. Mike did lots of landscaping and I finally got the car cleaned out. Eli watched and was very very content... we think it is because he got to have most of his clothes off! We also got to spend a little time in the hammock I got Mike for fathers day when I was pregnant... Eli loves to swing in it!

Blanket thief

I debated if I should post this, but what the heck. For years now (all my life) I have slept with my baby blanket. Of coarse I do not still have my original, it only make it till I was about 21. However, it was replaced by one very similar (seen in this picture). As many of you know we have been swaddling Eli since he was 6 weeks old with the swaddle blanket called the "Miracle Blanket" which really is a miracle. He was sleeping 8 hours straight a night at 6 weeks. But, we figured he could not be swaddled in high school, so we had to break him of this habit. It was rough, but we found the solution... Eli loves mommy's blanket. We are going on almost 3 weeks of Eli sleeping with my blanket (the longest I have EVER gone sleeping without it!). So Eli might be sleeping well, but I am struggling a little... if it gets to bad I might have to sleep in the crib with Eli so we can share it.

Eli finds his feet

For months Mike has been working on helping Eli find his feet... since babies that play with their feet are so cute! This Saturday morning Eli found his feet. As you can see he is not so sure what he thinks of them, but none the less it is still cute.

Standing on the couch

Our house is not huge and we think Eli fusses because he gets bored looking at the same things over and over. Last night Mike started standing him (with help of coarse) on the couch so he can look over the back... it might be his new favorite thing. Now he can watch Mike on the computer which I find boring, but Eli loves to watch his papa.

Moving up to big boy toys!

This is our new friend the entertainer... Eli loves to be able to stand and I love that it entertains him!!!

Fun-times with Mommy and Daddy

This is not common practice at our house (to use this front pack)... but Mike wanted to try it once and it was too cute.

When is was nice last week (before the return on Winter in April) I started running with Eli... this is his first trip in the jogging stroller... he looks uncomfortable, but he was asleep by the end.

Don't put me in stupid outfits mom!... not without my passy!

Nana loves pigs and for Easter she got Eli a pig with Bunny Ears... I could not resist putting them on Eli... he loved them as you can see! I should have Child Protective Services called on me!
