 Yes - he ate one, but it seems they were hard to chew.  He ended up spitting it out and asking for ants instead.

All this bug eating at home got Eli ready for Bug Fest with his cousins.

 At Bug Fest they flavor their crickets with cheddar and bacon

 Not sure Aunt Ginny thought they tasted like anything bug a cricket!
