My parents keep me in the closet

One of Eli's favorite things to do is jump in his Johny Jumper, however we do not have a doorway downstairs that it fits in... except for the closet. So, here is a video of Eli hanging in the closet. When he gets fussy we just shut the door.

Eli the cannibal?

See Daddy and Eli happily together on Father's Day.

Somehow, Eli thinks that Daddy is big giant cheerio as he tries to eat Daddy's chin.

Apparently Eli enjoys trying to eat the Daddy. Here he is quite happy after his meal.

Dirty, dirty Eli

Eli had some trouble locating his mouth with his food. His missed attempts are all over his face and body!! What a dirty boy. And he appears quite proud of himself!

Big news but pictures to come...

Eli has hit a few milestones in the last few weeks I wanted to mention, but I don't have any visuals to post YET!... I need Mike to download the camera (yes, I am that wife).
Milestone #1 : On our drive home from Vacation Eli cut his first tooth (bottom right). So he was about 5 1/2 month old. He cut his second (bottom left) very soon after.
Milestone #2 : After much practice over the last few months (with the boopie) Eli sits up on his own, this also started right after our return from Vacation.
He is all over the place now. It is amazing how far and how fast they can get somewhere just by rolling. Yesterday I left him sitting up with toys in the middle of the living room and returned a few minutes latter to find him on the other side of the room chewing on the cable cord. I now have to have him contained to leave the room.
Close to Milestone #3 : Eli is so close to sitting up one his own from a laying position. He is also close to doing a little crawling... he gets up on all fours but has not figured out he needs to lift up his head. He also tends to get up on his hands and feet verses his hands and knees, but we are afraid it won't be long until he is going going going... I am not sure if we are ready for this yet!
